Our tilapia (Oreochromis Niloticus) is a delicious and exotic fish, which is indigenous to Ethiopia. The tilapia is produced with respect for society and environment under controlled conditions at our farm in the Amhara Region. We provide both whole fish and fillet. If you would like to start your own farm, you can buy our high quality fingerlings to stock your pond or cage.
The whole fish is gutted and the scales are removed, which means the head, tail, bones and skin are still attached. Besides the meat consumption, the fish is therefore perfect for making soup. Thus an optimal use of the fish and economically friendly as well.
The fillet is bone-free. Skin, head and tail are removed. Easy to handle and perfect to be combined in a wide range of local and international dishes.
Fry, hatchery, optimal conditions, different sizes upon demand.
Africa Sustainable Aquaculture initiates and develops a commercial and sustainable aquaculture sector, together with local entrepreneurs.
Our focus is on high quality tilapia production for local markets and export, thereby explicitly contributing to nutrition security, employment and capacity building.
